Europe Houseboats has developed for export to third world countries a new purpose for the houseboat, the Medical Boat
Its very strong hull construction and low draft makes this type of design very suitable as a medical boat or Floating clinic .The bow is double plated and especially constructed for running aground on shore in remote areas , in case there is no infrastructure for normal mooring .

If the projected waters are undeep enough ( up to 10 meters ) the boats can be equipped with a so called spud pole system. Instead of the use of anchors these poles come out telescopicly under the boat and secure the boat firmly at the bow and stern . The boats are very enviromentally friendly .They will be equipped with the latest biological waste treatment system that complies to the MEPC 159/55 rules . After filtration the black water is clean enough for shower/toitet re use . The 18 kw solar panel system wil support the boat equipment and airconditioning . Two generators will deliver power to the medical equipment .

The boats are being developed and built in Holland . All boats are built of aluminum under Lloyds rules .We can deliver as a turnkey project including medical equipment ( new or used ) .
