When I was in the USA a number of years ago and went onboard of a houseboat for the first time ,I didn't know what to expect. For me , as a boat owner , I could not imagine from the outside what to expect on the inside .

The very luxurious kitchen , fully equipped , was a surprise . And then I had not even seen the bathroom....I am a big guy . So to fit in a shower in a boat has allways been a challenge for me , but not anymore .However I was the most impressed by the warm homely experience .I was on the water somewhere, a long way from home , but still felt at home.....Immediatly I knew that a lot of people in Europe would feel the same way about this concept   and basicly that is how I decided to bring this American concept of the housboat to Europe .

With the founding of Europe Houseboats LTD I want to give you the possibility to also enjoy this unique feeling of being at home on the water . We started initially in conjunction with Stardust Cruisers in the USA . We changed the houseboat in 250 ways to make the concept suitable for the European waterways and the higher expectation level of the European customer .
We decided , starting january 2012, to build the houseboats in Holland however . This way we can deliver a higher quality and a better performing boat . You , as a customer , can benefit from the wellknown experience of the Dutch boatbuilders .
